An Appreciation by a Parent and Teacher, Jay Mead

Yesterday as I was running my elective I marveled (once again) at the magic of TSA. As my students were peeling saplings and applying them to their shade structure. I watched Flo and her mindfulness crew lying on the grass in the sun. The archers were headed for the woods. The stringed instrument kids were playing their instruments in quiet nooks around the edges of the playing fields. The outdoor survival class was out orienteering compasses in hand. The garden elective was gardening. The photographers were shooting self-portraits and the the guys in the field house were making the presses for their skis. What a great place to be a teacher and a student!
