The Sharon Academy

The Sharon Academy is an approved independent school. This means that, although we are a private school, we are approved to recieve tuition money from those Vermont towns that normally tuition students out to area schools.

In our effort to make TSA accessible to all families in the Upper Valley, The Sharon Academy also bases our tuition on the state average so students from "sending" towns can come to TSA at no additional cost to the family.  As a result of this practice, 75% of our students are technically publically funded. 

For students from non-sending towns, tuition fees for 2008 - 2009 are $10,921 for both the middle school and the high school. 

TSA offers limited financial assistance to qualified applicants.  In addition to tuition, we also charge for field trips, some special supplies and extra curricular activities.  We estimate additional expenses to be $300 - $400 a year, depending on student activities and elective choices, in addition to our annual registration fee of $100.
