H1N1 Flu Clinic - The Sharon Academy will be holding an H1N1 Clinic on December 11, 2009. The clinic is being offered at the high school during the school day to all students in grades 7 - 12. This vaccine is voluntary, NOT mandatory. Vaccine Consent Forms have been mailed with high school report cards and were distributed to students at the middle school. We are especially in need of donations of cookies, crackers, and bottles of juice and water. Please email Carol Sheldon, the school nurse, at carem@valley.net if you can donate any of these items Any parents wishing to see more information on the H1N1 vaccine, including vaccine contents, can visit: http://www.cdc.gov/h1n1flu/parents/ Clinic Schedule* NEW TIMES: 8:00 - 9:00: Vaccines for Middle School Students and Middle School staff at the High School. Parents of students receiving the vaccine (all other students should report directly to the middle school as usual.) - please bring MS students to the High School in the morning. Parents are welcome wait for their students outside the gym and bring them back to the Middle School. Alternatively, teachers/staff will transport students back to the MS. 9:15 - 10:30: Vaccines for High School Students (during Advisory) Please note: Students have to be observed for 15 minutes after they receive the vaccine. Students should bring something to do for the 15 minutes, a book, deck of cards, etc.
