College & Career Advising

The Sharon Academy expects all of our students to pursue post-secondary training — whether it is college, university, tech/trade school or other training. As such, we provide extensive assistance throughout the application process for college and other post-secondary education programs. We also provide support for career research and planning so that students can best determine what college or training would be appropriate. These supports happen through PATH, Advisory, and the College/Career Advising Office.

For further information, please contact our Director of Career and College Advising, Ellen Bagnato, at ebagnato@sharonacademy.net or call (802) 763-2500 x116.

There are a variety of resources available for college and career planning, with numerous links below. Please note that this section is revised annually in the spring, as the process evolves. We try to keep it as updated as possible. However, please let us know if you find any errors or omissions.

Career Planning

Please visit our Career Planning page for information and resources. Many of these resources are explored through the PATH classes at the high school.

College Advising

To help you in the post-secondary education application process, we provide extensive information on our College Search page. This page contains information and resources that we use in our PATH classes and advisory.  Most of this will be used in PATH class throughout 2nd semester junior year and 1st semester senior year.

Younger students will work with their advisors to develop community service and other opportunities that fit their goals and interests. See the Opportunities page for suggestions.
