Conducting a Book Search
- Scan the bookshelves in the TSA library.
- See if individual teachers have books on your subject or can recommend books to you.
- Search WorldCat using keywords, titles, or authors (WorldCat searches library holdings all over the world; when you click on a book title be sure to look under "Find a copy in the library" to see where you can find the book locally).
- If you have found a book and want to preview it, search for the book by title on Google Books.
- If you have found a book and want to see if a free e-book version exists, search for the book on Project Gutenberg (note: older books with expired copyrights are often available, newer books are generally not available as free e-book downloads).
- Search the institutional libraries listed below using keywords, titles, or authors.
- Search the local libraries listed below using keywords, titles, or authors.
- Use your local library to request books through inter-library loan.
