ADVANCED GAME ART
Brandon Phoenix

With this class we will delve into several advanced topics including sculpting, retopologizing, normal mapping, specular mapping, and diffusion mapping. This is much more the fine art side of real-time graphics, so study up on anatomy. This is an advanced class meant to be attended by people who have had some experience with the tool we use; specifically Blender 3D and the Gimp. If you’ve used neither of these tools before they are available at www.blender.org and www.gimp.org respectively. The main things to know with these programs is basic interface, modeling, UV unwrapping, and texturing. Introductions to these topics can be found at wiki.blender.org and blenderartists.org.
