Newsies takes you back to a time when a group of young Davids take on a Goliath. It is the inspiring story of the 1899 Newsboys’ strike, where a group of newsboys banded together and rallied against two large newspaper publishers, Joseph Pulitzer of the New York World and William Randolph Hearst of the New York Journal. You can pay with either a credit card (we do not accept American Express) over the phone or bring cash/a check to Chandler Music Hall. We will keep all credit card information secure, and it will be shredded after the final show on Saturday. The only payment accepted on show night is cash or check.
