Our Interim programs are multi-week immersive experiences designed to promote deeper learning and community building outside the classroom. Students explore hands-on, real-world challenges beyond traditional academics, fostering leadership, creativity, and strong peer relationships.
Middle School Circus Interim teaches circus skills such as juggling and unicycling with a professional, highlighting teamwork, and collaboration.
High School Musical Interim is a chance for students to produce a full-scale musical, managing all aspects from set design to choreography.

Community of Belonging
Students learn best and thrive when they are genuinely known, trusted, and respected as whole people. At TSA, that sense of belonging extends to everyone, students and adults alike. From Learner Profile Conferences and Advisory to all-school meetings and the close relationships our small size makes possible, belonging is woven into daily life. More than a warm welcome, it is the foundation for the trust, connection, and confidence that allow everyone in our community to grow and thrive.
Voice
Students at TSA learn to speak and listen with confidence, respect, and openness to different perspectives. They develop these skills through Socratic seminars, Science Fair, Exhibition and Capstone, performances in Circus and the Musical, graduation speeches, and service as student trustees. Whether around a classroom table, on stage, or in the boardroom, students learn to express their ideas clearly, consider other viewpoints, and trust their own voices while listening carefully to others.
Tech-Intentionality
We are not anti-technology, we are pro-learning. At TSA, we make deliberate choices about when technology supports learning and when it gets in the way. Our full-day cell phone ban, individualized technology plans, and largely screen-free classrooms create space for deep thinking, genuine curiosity, and meaningful connections. Technology remains an important part of preparing students for the world, but it is a tool for learning, not the focus of learning itself.
Flexible and Individualized Education
At TSA, teachers know their students well enough to teach the person, not just the subject. Small classes and strong relationships allow teachers to nurture academic confidence, support individual learning needs, and make room for students’ interests and passions. A coordinated team of teachers, advisors, and academic support staff ensures that every student receives the attention and guidance they need to thrive. Our teachers are more than instructors; they are mentors who help students discover their strengths and reach their potential.

Our students live in a world that is constantly and rapidly changing, fraught with risk and yet filled with sometimes hidden, extraordinary opportunities. They need to be confident, curious, and adaptive citizens of the world, with the skills and wisdom to not just tackle the immense challenges the world faces, but to imagine and create a more just and healthy future.

We seek students ready to work hard, engage in learning, and contribute to a safe and inclusive environment. Our enrollment process is designed to ensure that TSA is the right fit—and to help us prepare to support your student from day one. Students are accepted enrolled on a first-come, first-served basis until a class reaches capacity. When a cohort is full, additional enrollees are placed on a waitlist.
We encourage all prospective students to schedule a visit day, shadow a current student, and experience TSA’s dynamic culture firsthand.
