Build Table Using recycled materials, we will create fun sculptures and let our imaginations take flight!
Casting Sculptural Tiles in Plaster
This workshop will have participants creating low-relief sculptural plaster tiles from clay molds. Please note, the plaster can take about 40 minutes to set up.
Circus Arts Try your hand at juggling and other exciting circus arts.
Face Painting Be a walking piece of art. A few of TSA’s talented art students will paint your face to become whatever you want to be!
Jewelry Making Create affordable, fun and fabulous wearable art. Experiment with making lasting, wearable, giftable art out of wire, found objects and beads.
Marble Painting In this class, artists will have a chance to decorate paper using marbles. Plain paper is placed in a box lid, marbles are dipped into paint, placed on the paper, and rolled around. A unique and colorful design results. This is a drop-in class and will not take long to create an original piece.
Mini Comics You can make a mini comic! All you need is some paper, something to draw with, and your imagination! Cartoonist, Matt Aucoin, will be on hand to help with characters, story, and drawings to make your mini comic come to life.,/span>
Paper Airplane Making Make your own ultimate paper airplane with the guidance of our students.
Puzzle Making It’s Hip to Be Square: Explore the magic of squares and cubes while exercising your spatial skills through puzzles and games. We’ll play with pentominoes and make soma cubes–a seven piece puzzle created Danish poet Piet Hein while listening to a lecture on quantum physics.
