All-School Potluck-Thursday, August 29, 5:30-7pm
We look forward to seeing you at
TSA’s Annual Beginning of the Year Potluck
Thursday, August 29, 5:30-7pm
TSA High School
We look forward to seeing you at our 2019-2020 Welcome Potluck on Thursday, August 29. This is one of our most popular and best attended events of the year and is designed to welcome new members to the TSA community, to introduce our staff to all of our families, and to give our wider community the opportunity to gather, all while sharing wonderful food.
In the spirit of a potluck, please bring 10-12 servings, which will ensure that all who attend can have enough to eat.
Food We Would Like You to Bring:
In order to have a good mix of food, please follow the grade assignments below. If you have children in more than one grade, follow the assignment of your oldest student.
- Families of 11th and 12th graders: Main Dishes — Chicken, turkey, lasagna, spanakopita (or other vegetarian dish), quiches, burritos, ham, or your favorite entrée that doesn’t need reheating or to be kept warm.
-
Families of 10th and returning 9th graders: Side Dishes — Pasta salad, green salads, potato salad, cold cut platters, cheese-fruit platters, rice salad, hummus, tabbouleh, finger sandwiches, deviled eggs, or whatever side dish you wish!
-
Families of 8th graders: Please bring a main dish or a side dish, whichever you prefer.
-
Families of 7th and new 9th graders: Finger Desserts — Cookies, brownies, squares, bars, cupcakes, etc. Please bring 24 pieces of your item.
TSA will provide cold water to drink. Please bring a picnic blanket and chairs if you wish. We will have picnic tables and some chairs available.
New This Year
Please bring your own plates, cups and utensils.
We will have plenty on hand, but bringing your own reusable dinnerware helps our mission to be as green as possible for our events.
|
Please be sure to label your dish and any serving utensils and bring your things home with you at the end of the night.
Potluck Schedule
All activities will take place outside at the high school. If the weather is inclement we will move into the high school.

6:30-7:00 | Bring your plate over and gather to listen to a few words from TSA Head of School, Michael Livingston |
If you are new to the TSA community, please introduce yourself to folks throughout the evening. If you are returning to TSA, please help make our new families feel welcome and enjoy reconnecting with old friends.
