Collective Collage: Make Your Mark | Led by artist and TSA alumni parent Lynn Sheldon. Everyone leaves a different mark in the world. In this walk-by, drop-in workshop, all together we will create a large abstract collage. Using paint, colored paper, inks, markers, pencils and crayons, we will create marks both large and small. As we respond thoughtfully to the work of others who come before us in creating our own additions, the collage will grow and take on a life of its own. Varied media and techniques will be used at different points in the workshop, so please cycle through the project more than once! |
Face Painting | Led by TSA students. Be a walking piece of art. A few of TSA’s talented art students will paint your face to become whatever you want to be! |
Hair Dryer Art | Led by TSA parent Amy Braun. Make delightful art using plain paper, a hairdryer, and colorful crayons. This is a drop-in class and will not take long to create an original design. |

Storytelling with music | Led by TSA parent and artist Jools Skeet and musician Emerson Gale. Storytelling sessions 1-2pm and 2:30-3:30pm. Have you ever wanted to teleport to another world? Solve a mystery? Or dig for hidden treasure? Well now is your chance! Using the magic of the imagination and an ancient story bag full of weird and wonderful objects, you will be part of a journey that could take you anywhere! While Jools Skeet creates the story with you, Emerson Gale will accompany with music, adding a delightful spin to the tale. At the end of the story, the adventure continues through a hands-on art project. |
All workshops are open to the public.
