2024-25 Weekly HS Schedule
After an extensive, year-long process of gathering student, family, and teacher perspectives on what the
best teaching and learning schedule for our students should be, we are excited to be shifting our weekly
schedule next year to one that we feel will best serve the needs of our learning community.
Next year’s weekly schedule includes the following benefits and characteristics:
● Students will take 5 subjects all year long
● Subjects will meet 3 times per week
● Consistency throughout the year with all classes and grouping of students starting and ending the year together
● Extended opportunities for integrated curriculum design
● Stronger alignment with signature programming such as exhibition, community building days, specialized
classroom projects like the physics war and beliefs project
● More Phoenix Block time for specialized instruction from our Special Educator and academic coaches, making up
for missed classes, and extended learning opportunities (online classes, internships, independent courses)
● All School Meetings will occur on Mondays to kick off the week with important announcements.
● Extended lunch blocks will accommodate Club meetings.
