TSA will provide free breakfasts and lunches for the school year

In October, TSA began to offer free breakfasts and lunches through a program of the US Department of Agriculture. At first, the program was slated to end at the end of December, but on October 9, the US Secretary of Agriculture announced that the meals would continue through the entire 2020-21 school year.

The Sharon Academy had formed a partnership with the White River Valley Supervisory Union to obtain the free meals. Each week, the school publishes the menu for the upcoming week and families can order their menu selections by that Sunday. Breakfasts include a whole grain, fruit, and dairy product, like a cheese stick or yogurt. Lunches all include fresh fruit and milk, plus changing selections that typically include a hot component or sandwich.

This benefit is very much appreciated.
