Amber Wylie was a storyteller on the VPBS and VPR project to explore rural Vermont.
Director of Enrollment and Communication Amber Wylie was amazing on stage at the Chandler Music Hall on Tuesday evening, October 29, as one of five storytellers in an event produced by Vermont PBS and Vermont Public Radio called Rural Stories on Stage. VPBS and VPR have been collaborating on a project exploring life in Vermont called This Land, which included a state-wide survey, news, analysis, a docu-series, and live events.
Amber was a dynamic storyteller, recounting what it was like for her to grow up in Vermont as a person of color, her decision to escape, and ultimately to return to raise a family. You’ll be able to see and/or hear her performance and her interview with Jane Lindholm on Vermont PBS and on VPR:
