TSA HS Welcomes New Staff

The Sharon Academy high school welcomed Rachel Milito to our teaching staff this week.  Rachel will be working with Anna Riley throughout the month of December teaching Spanish, and overseeing an advisory.  Anna will be on family leave after our December break, and we wish her well.

Rachel earned her Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, studied in Peru, spent two summers in Central America, and led two semester long educational trips in Latin America honing her Spanish speaking skills.  She is “excited for the prospect of inspiring other young people to explore the world beyond their borders and have the tools to connect with people from other places.”

In addition, Rachel has worked with students in an Outward Bound program and a gap year program.  Her experience allows her to “meet each student where they are and encourage them to expand beyond their perceived limits.”  Welcome Rachel!
