TSA Chain Reaction Day
Tuesday, January 22, 2019, 8:15-1pm
TSA will host its 10th Annual MLK day celebration, Chain Reaction Day, a day of student, teacher and community-member led workshops focusing on celebrating, exploring and engaging in the spirit of the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This will be an exciting day as we focus on our objectives which are to:
- Explore the unspoken assumptions we make on a daily basis,
- Increase our awareness of how our differences can enhance our relationships,
- Begin to engage in conversations about difficult topics.
The day includes the presentation of a documentary called It’s Criminal. All of our students from both the middle and high school will watch this movie together. After the movie, we will hold a discussion with some of the people involved in the film. Please read the entire letter sent on Tuesday to be informed about the topics this documentary covers.
