Chain Reaction Day-Wednesday, 2/2/22
The Sharon Academy is excited to offer our thirteenth Chain Reaction Day on Wednesday, February 2. This day is TSA’s way to acknowledge and honor the work of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as well as to explore all that has stemmed from that work. We are thrilled that Ms. Xusana Davis, Executive Director of the State of Vermont’s Office of Racial Equity, will be joining us as the Keynote Presenter. Additionally, we have workshops offered by current and former staff and board and community members, ranging in topics from Musical Theater and Social Justice to Classism 101, to Cultural Appreciation vs. Appropriation and Stereotypes in the Media. We are especially grateful to the Randolph Union High School students who will be facilitating a workshop about identifying and interrupting Microaggressions.
