Advisory Programs

Support That Stays With You

At TSA, every student is known — and our Advisory Program is a cornerstone of that mission. Each student joins a small advisory group led by a dedicated faculty or staff member.

These groups are relationship-centered and designed to last. Over the course of a student’s middle and high school journey, advisors become trusted mentors and advocates. The Advisory Program is essential to our deeper learning culture, helping students reflect, grow, and step forward with confidence.

Building Connections

Advisory meets twice a week and provides meaningful opportunities to connect and build community within a mixed-age group of students. Activities such as team-building games, shared meals, and field trip planning are regular parts of the advisory experience, strengthening bonds and creating lasting memories.

Academic Support and Guidance

Advisors guide students in tracking their academic progress, setting personal and educational goals, and developing self-advocacy skills. Twice a year, students co-lead conferences with their advisor and family members to discuss their achievements, challenges, and growth. These conversations reinforce student ownership and encourage open communication.
