Spring Sports

Varsity Boys & Girls Track & Field

The TSA Varsity Track and Field program welcomes all student-athletes, whether new to the sport or experienced competitors, offering both an inclusive and challenging environment across all disciplines.

Coaching and training programs are provided in all facets, including sprints (100m, 200m, 400m), middle-distance (800m, 1500m/mile), long-distance (3000m), hurdles (100m/110m high hurdles, 300m hurdles), relays, jumps (long jump, high jump, triple jump, pole vault), and throws (shot put, discus, javelin).

New athletes receive fundamental instruction and support to explore different events, while experienced competitors engage in advanced techniques, strength and conditioning, and strategy to refine their skills and achieve personal bests.

The program emphasizes individual growth, fostering a positive team culture where athletes are encouraged to push themselves while also celebrating each other’s successes across all events.

Middle School Track & Field

The TSA Middle School Track & Field team is open to any and all interested student-athletes at the middle school campus.

Our middle school program offers student-athletes the opportunity to participate in: sprinting events (100m, 200m, 400m), middle-distance events (800m, 1500m), 110m hurdles, 4×100 relay, 4×200 relay, throwing events (shot put, discus, high jump), as well as jumping events (high jump, long jump, triple jump).

Student-athletes will have practices and trainings three or four times a week, while competing in meets during the spring season.

Middle School Track & Field begins their season in early spring.

Spring Club Athletics

Golf

TSA offers interested student-athletes the chance to participate in the club golf team. While Varsity golf is a fall sport in the state of Vermont, we offer our student-athletes the opportunity to go outside and work with golf coaches to learn the game of golf, but also golf course etiquette.

This is a great opportunity for student-athletes to open the door to learning what can be a lifelong sport that can be enjoyed after high school. Student-athletes will practice two or three times a week.

Our club team plays at Montague Golf Course in Randolph, Vermont.

Ultimate

During the spring, TSA offers the opportunity to participate in the Varsity Ultimate team.

Vermont was the first state in the country to recognize Ultimate as a Varsity sport, and TSA has featured a Varsity Ultimate team even before it was a Varsity sport, competing at the club level.

Student-athletes practice three to four times a week with dedicated coaches to teach them the fundamentals of Ultimate and basic fitness values.

The team competes in matches against other Vermont schools, and in a final end of the season tournament.

Join the Booster Club

Join the TSA Athletic Booster Club and help support our student-athletes through fundraising, concessions, and community events. Since 2013, the club has raised money for athletic equipment, training opportunities, and scholarships—including our famous wood-fired pizza sales at varsity soccer games. Everyone is welcome to get involved!

TSA Athletics Policies & Forms

Wellness Form
