If you’ve been by the Middle School lately, you’ve likely felt the energy of students immersed in their science fair work and the process of discovery.
Under the guidance of science teacher Clare Shamith, students are the architects of their own experiments, troubleshooting equipment, collaborating with partners, and solving problems along the way.
Because all students participate, the science fair becomes a shared journey for the entire school community.
Our Middle School students are excited to present their work and share what they have learned through demonstrations, displays, live experiments, and conversations with visitors about their process and discoveries.
Presenting to an authentic audience helps students practice the vital skill of explaining their ideas clearly and confidently. Families and community members are warmly invited to attend and explore the projects. In addition, an array of recent student artwork will be displayed throughout the building, featuring a variety of media and creative expression.
